Dear One & All,

The Event that comes once in a year is back.
The traditional Bonderam of Piedade island commonly know as Divar Island infact Piedade is sub divided into three parts namely Divar, Malar and Naroa. Its like a mini Carnival, having a tribal weapon called Fotash. So if you are in Goa dont forget to witness this festival. Viva Goa Viva Bonderam.

This year's celebrations have an emphasis on Goa's mother tongue. "We are determined to preserve the language and culture of Goa and therefore, only Konkani songs and music will be used by the participating floats.

The Bonderam parade will kick-start at 3pm from the Malar flag-post and wend its way through the village to the accompaniment of the brass band. It will then converge at the venue where the fancy dress competition will be held.
